Hi Everyone! I hope this email finds you all well- I have some exciting news to share, but first I want to express how incredibly grateful I am for the constant support, love and kindness you have gifted me over the last 4 years. I started Balm & Bristle as a way to explore my career avenues and create a space where guests felt welcome, comfortable and heard. I have loved every moment of the journey with you all, but as my personal life has evolved and the cost of operating a small business has skyrocketed my focus and career needs have changed. With that said, I am excited to announce that as of July 6, I will be closing the chapter of Balm & Bristle and moving a few minutes up the road to Define Hair and Skin in Ellicott City! This decision was not easy, but after a lot of thought, ultimately, I believe it’s what is best for my clients, my career, and my family. I want a space where I have opportunity for growth, access to education, and where I am surrounded by experienced stylists to lean on and learn from. I will also have access to a support team that can assist in scheduling and guest care. Define truly checks all of the boxes that I couldn’t fill for my guests or myself by working independently and I’m excited to have it as a place to call my new home! My hours will remain the same- Tuesday 10-7, Thursday 10-7, every other Friday 10-4:30, every other Saturday 8-4. I will have more availability during these hours due to being able to fill processing times. If you have an appointment scheduled with me after July 5th I will transfer your appointment over to my schedule at Define (you do not need to call to schedule any existing appointments). If you do need to change or cancel your existing appointment before July 5th please contact me directly at balmandbristlestudio@gmail.com! Starting July 1 I will be available for online booking at Define- feel free to check out their website https://defineoffical.com/ to learn more! In the meantime, you are welcome to continue using my booking website to make future appointments. Thank you all again for giving me the opportunity to serve your hair needs over the last 4 years- I have truly loved the time in my studio with each and every one of you and I can’t wait to continue the journey at Define! Cancellation Policy
Balm & Bristle reserves the right to charge a 20% cancellation fee for any no shows or cancellations within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment.
